Network Homes believes good homes make everything possible. Since 1974 they’ve been supporting people in housing need and this remains at the heart of everything they do today.
They’re a charitable housing association providing over 21,000 affordable homes for more than 38,000 people predominantly across London and Hertfordshire. They reinvest their profits into building more affordable homes and delivering services for residents.
In March 2023 they announced plans to merge with Sovereign. The new organisation, Sovereign Network Group, will be one of the largest housing associations in the UK, with over 82,000 homes across the South of England and in London.

The challenge
After observing another housing association’s success with Plentific, Network Homes sought a solution to streamline repairs, reduce admin workload, and improve support for residents. They began with 3,000 properties and quickly expanded to over 18,000, aiming to boost booking attendance, meet repair targets, and minimise team admin.

The solution
To test Plentific’s capabilities, Network Homes launched a damp and mould project, aiming for rapid inspections and a three-day turnaround on repairs. Leveraging Plentific’s Appointed Contractor feature, Network Homes could seamlessly use their own contractors alongside those from Plentific’s marketplace. This flexibility enabled faster surveys and prompt repair completion within the target timeframe.

A small team of four now manages nearly 18,000 properties, supported by 270 local contractors. 91% of bookings ensure homes stay safe, while 90% of repairs are completed within KPIs, reducing backlogs. Residents are twice as likely to reuse Plentific contractors, reflecting consistently high performance. Instant messaging, rapid quote reviews, and full job visibility improve oversight, while analytics drive better decisions, enhancing service quality and resident satisfaction.
