A local architectural designer in Leeds is likely to cover jobs in and around Morley, Pudsey, Tadcaster, Wetherby, Wharfedale, Aireborough, Garforth, Horsforth, Otley and Rothwell.

Architectural designers provide design and consultancy services for planning out complex building and home improvement projects. Their services can include building information modelling, permitted development design and even help with applications for planning permission or building regulations approval. Be sure to screen your candidates to make sure that they are qualified for your project. Although qualifications are not necessary for an architectural designer, they are still a bonus to have!
To find your ideal Pro it will be important to screen your candidates, even if you only take the time to read through customer reviews: Is a candidate known for polite and professional behaviour? Do they complete their work on time? Would their old clients recommend them? You should also look through each candidate’s portfolio to get a better idea of their work quality and experience.
You can give yourself a clear idea of the average cost to hire an architectural designer in Leeds by collecting quotes from at least three to five different candidates. For each quote, be sure to ask about any additional or hidden fees: for example, an architectural designer based in Morley may try to add travel expenses to a quote for a job in Wetherby, and so on.
Once you have chosen a candidate, one final thing to check is that they are properly covered. An architectural designer should be able to show proof of an active professional indemnity insurance policy.

Kevin and his team worked brilliantly. They were very thorough, friendly and helpful. The bathroom has been completed to a very
high standard. Kevin was easily contactable and made sure I was completely happy. I would definitely use them again. Thank you very much

The porch I wanted to build required a planning permission and the service provided by Architektas was very good and
professional - good suggestions how to improve on our initial plan, quick turnaround of drawings, immediate corrections where required, submission to the council and quick turnaround of additional requests by the council. Communication was very good throughout - quick and clear responses and suggestions. Thanks to Architektas, we could meet our aggressive timeframe and get a planning permission as planned. I would definitely recommend Architektas for similar projects.

I have planning permission for a large side extension including loft extension but I don't have the necessary architectural drawings.
I'd like to have some advice to change the interior layout of the house before i start laying the foundations.

Hello - I am looking for a designer who is experienced in converting planning drawings to building regulations drawings. There are
two designs which are closely related 16-04202 and 16-04600 the only difference being the roof layout and garage. The designs are required to support building regulations control and getting quotes from builders.

I need help with ascertaining the status of a planning application for extending a kitchen, building a new bathroom
and opening up a fireplace in a ground floor purpose built maisonette, which I own and for which I have a leasehold. I attach plans for the kitchen extension.
We are the leaseholders of the apartment 1st and 2nd floor+ attic. We would like to convert the attic into
a dormer, gain the access to the rear 1st floor terrace. We did a pre-application to Westminster in 2015 - and we revived positive reply for the possibility of the terrace and the dormer. We would need your advice and quotations for architect, structural engineer and building regulations We would like changing the place of the kitchen from 1st floor to 2nd floor and make the second floor a fully open space. (kitchen and living) On the 1st floor we would like to build a second bathroom and transform the living into a bedroom On the wall facing Strutton ground we would need to change windows and isolate the walls from noise since it will be a bedroom. In the dormer we think of having a bedroom and a bathroom and storages. we also would like to build the small roof terrace in the rear part of the 1st floor.
