We received a very thorough and professional service from start to finish. The plumbing problems were quite complex, and the
quote was based on an extremely careful and detailed examination. Joe found better solutions than another plumber who'd been round to quote earlier. We literally could not have been happier. Highly recommended.

I am very impressed with the speed and helpfulness of Studio Squared. Working off my sketches the beam calculation was completed in 10 days even exchanging messages at the weekend to sort out queries.

We asked James to pop round and give us some ideas and guidance on our bungalow update. And he did
just that. His ideas were in addition to our and have certainly started the debate. He was practical in his approach (ours is a flip, so we're mindful of budget) and pragmatic in application, ensuring we maintain utility whilst achieving a new look for a dated property. I'd recommend you use James for a similar approach, and wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Hiring a tradesman for accessible home design

Accessible home design is an important part of independent living for the disabled and elderly. Settling for the cheapest option can result in poor workmanship and more expenses down the line, not to mention risks to your health. Plentific can help you find the best tradesmen in your local area that offer accessible home design as a service, while also giving you quick access to customer reviews for each of your options to help you choose between them. With a national database of over 75,000 tradesmen, Plentific can find you tradesmen that will not only offer competitive quotes, but will also give you the peace of mind you need for your property.

What do you need to know about accessible home design?

Accessible home design is the construction or modification of a property to enable independent living for disabled persons. This can mean architectural alterations, modified furniture, wheelchair ramps and so on, and so the cost of hiring an accessible home design specialist can vary considerably. Any homes built after 1999 will have been required by the law to have basic disabled access, and should be more easily adaptable.

Before choosing a tradesman it is a good idea to have a few free assessments done on your home, as this will give you an idea of what you can have done and for what price. Be sure to check the qualifications and customer reviews of each of your options before making a decision, and ensure that your choice is adequately covered against accidental damage and liabilities. They should also have a policy in place for if you are unsatisfied with their work.
