What do you need to know about flat pack furniture assembly?

Flat pack furniture is designed to be easy to assemble, though sometimes this simply isn’t the case. Hiring a handyman is a good option for professional assembly as specialised carpentry or joining skills will not be needed. It is likely that you will have to pay a minimum call out charge for a handyman, but an assessment probably will not be necessary, and at worst you may end up paying for a few hour’s work, at around £125. Certain firms and tradesmen will give you an hourly rate and some a fixed rate based on the size and complexity of the piece of furniture. Before making a hire it is a good idea to ask if your choice has experience with the brand of furniture you need assembled, and an excellent idea to look over customer reviews to see if your choice’s work has been well received. Though this is not crucial, check to see if your final choice is covered for accidental damage and liabilities.

I hired EPS based on the glowing recommendations of a colleague at work. My garden was overgrown and infested with ivy which was climbing up onto the neighbouring flats. I needed someone to go in quickly and resolve the issue. EPS were very efficient & sourced a local gardener whom they supervised and promptly made my garden look neat & tidy. Everything was cleared away and they provided a very competitive price. Would definitely recommend EPS.

Having a big refurb can be stressful but not with this company. They were efficient, helpful and very creative. Joe is a personable guy who is always happy to help. I am absolutely delighted with the result of the work that was carried in my home. I would highly recommend Three Shires to anyone who would like quality work with reasonable prices.

Fresh came to my home to do a number of jobs including fitting a new shower and lights. My old house needed a bit of help coming into the modern era but they managed to make everything fit and work perfectly. It's so nice to have a decent shower and lights again! Very fast and professional service. Friendly guys who were clean and neat too! Would highly recommend :)
