How to Find a garden planting service professional

Hiring a tradesman for a garden planting service

Correct garden ‘planting’ is more than just putting plants in soil. For certain plants it requires a delicate touch and a knowledge of the plant’s growth cycle. Getting a professional gardener is your best bet for this, and Plentific can help. Plentific hosts information for over 75,000 professional tradesmen across the UK and utilises it to generate bespoke contact lists based on each user’s location and job requirements. You can find great gardeners quickly, and with access to customer reviews you can compare and choose between them with confidence.

What do you need to know about garden planting services?

‘Planting’ might sound easy, but ‘correct’ planting is essential to get your garden properly established. Planting work can include excavating planting pits, staking and anchoring plants, backfilling and so on, plus a professional can give you the best advice on caring for your plants. To be sure of a job well done it is important to get a well qualified and experienced gardener. Generally speaking the cost of a garden planting service is based on your stock. On average you might have to pay between 15-30% of the value of your stock for this service. If you are offered an hourly rate be aware that you will likely have to pay a minimum charge. Before choosing a tradesman check over their qualifications, experience and customer references. They may well have pictures of gardens they have previously worked on for you to inspect. Especially if you are having valuable plants installed, it is important to make sure your tradesmen are adequately covered against accidental damage and liabilities.

Hi, we require a tree surgeon for a tree report for a new development. The neighbour has a protected tree; presumably, the report needs to tell us how large the root ball is and where it is located which will dictate our basement dig out and basement structure. David Chalice http://challiceconsulting.co.uk came recommend or similar. Thanks

Very small garden with bamboo in one corner that we would like to be removed and replaced with a tree that fits the garden., complemented with other flowers as suitable. Artificial lawn to be potentially replaced with new and extended artificial lawn (to be discussed). Front garden to be trimmed.

Very pleased with what they have done. It wasn't a small landscaping project, but at the end they finished it on time. Very impressed how hard the guys worked.

Work was done by Millenium Interiors, which I would highly reccomend. I needed all my rooms Interior designed which included: Livingroom, bathroom, and 3 bedrooms. The company gave useful advice with the style and decor that was required. I was then able to sell the property with maximum results. The duration of the project took 5-6 weeks. I am very happy with the results.
