Tiaan did an amazing job for us. We had to a basic kitchen in our new house and wanted to
beautify it with additional installations. Tiaan not only did the job meeting our expectations he also made sure that the smallest of details were taken care of consulted during his work. I would strongly recommend Tiaan for any work that requires a personal touch and attention to detail.

When you need a great Pro for a competitive price, all you need to do is post your job with Plentific! What do you need to know about finding a flooring specialist?

Before you start looking for a flooring specialist, take the time to think about exactly what kind of service you want. You can find a great deal of inspiration online which can help you to decide on your ideal flooring. It is also worth looking at the pros and cons for specific types of flooring. The more you know about your upcoming project, the easier it will be to get an accurate and fair quote from a flooring specialist.

To find your ideal flooring specialist, you will need to compare and collect quotes from a number of different candidates. As a rule, you should try to collect at least three quotes, since this will help to give you a clear idea of the average cost for a project like yours.

The first step to comparing your flooring specialists will be to examine their experience. While a flooring specialist does not need any qualifications, some of your candidates may have finished an apprenticeship or equivalent level course. Your ideal hire will have several years of experience under their belt as a minimum.

It will also be worth taking the time to read through each candidate’s customer reviews. These can tell you everything you need to know about the quality of a floor specialist’s work, as well as how easy they are to do business with. For each candidate, ask yourself whether their old clients had a good experience and whether they would happily give a recommendation.

Finally, it is definitely worth looking over a candidate’s past projects. These can give you a clear idea of the quality of their work, as well as what kind of jobs they have the most experience with.

What does a flooring specialist do?

A flooring specialist is an expert in sourcing and installing different types of flooring. They are often a key part of major redecoration projects. While you can usually buy whatever type of flooring you want at a shop, a flooring specialist is the Pro to call if you want to be sure of exceptional quality materials and a professional finish.

The type of flooring that a specialist can provide will typically be wide ranging, covering carpeting, stone, wood, brick and so on. Having said that, certain specialists will focus on specific types, such as hardwood. A flooring specialist can also help with services such as sports surface installation or block paving.

How much does it cost to hire a flooring specialist?

The cost of hiring a flooring specialist will depend on a few different factors. The most important will be the size and type of flooring that you want for your project. Obviously, certainly types will be far more expensive than others, so do your research when selecting your flooring.

Again, it is a good idea to collect at least three quotes in order to get a clear idea of the average cost to hire a flooring specialist near you. Remember, it is never a good idea to hire a tradesman based on price alone, as you are likely to end up with substandard work if you just choose the cheapest option available. Having said that, you should take the time to investigate any flooring specialists you consider, regardless of price: some may be charging an average price for completely subpar service!
