Sir Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin Group, has put his treasured Little Venice houseboat up for rent.
The adventuring entrepreneur is seeking £900 a week for his boat. While the ‘property’ is a tad more buoyant than other options you might find for the price, it still offers plenty of space in one of London’s most affluent areas.
Estate agents Bective Leslie Marsh describes the ‘property’ as an “exceptionally spacious two bedroom houseboat in the heart of Little Venice.
“The houseboat has been recently refurbished to an exacting standard and benefits from two bedrooms, two bathrooms, dressing area and a private garden.”
All things considered, the boat offers a lot for its price, including a reception room, dining room and even a shed!
The interior is refreshingly light and airy: the white walls, wooden floors and softly coloured furniture help the space to seem far less enclosed. The designer also made the wise decision of giving the boat an open structure, allowing you to stand at one end and view the entire length of the interior.
“Ideally located in the heart of Little Venice this is an ideal opportunity to have a piece of the country in the heart of London,” the listing continues.
Branson’s boat is currently available for £900 a week with Bective Leslie Marsh.
