Skyscraper homes Middle East

The Middle East is on the rise, quite literally in this case!

People and businesses are moving in their droves to the area's many expanding hubs, and with the amount of money being invested you would be right in thinking that, for the right place, these new residents can expect to be treated to a level of luxury that most of us can only dream of.

Here are some of Plentific's favourite residential skyscrapers in the Middle East!

Princess Tower, Dubai

Dubai's world renowned Princess Tower was, until recently, the tallest residential building on the planet. Stretching up 414m, it houses 763 separate apartments, from 1-4 bedroom flats to luxurious penthouses.

Residents are privy to some of the best views on the coast, and there's plenty to explore nearby: with some of Dubai's most popular restaurants, bars, universities and stores, lucky owners can experience the height of luxury even on the ground floor.

The penthouse apartments of the Princess Tower offer an incredible amount of space and splendour: as well as six ensuite bathrooms, office space, a private terrace and an open plan family-living area, the apartments feature state of the art smart home systems, as well as designer fittings and furnishings.

For when they want to pamper themselves, residents can enjoy both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, along with sauna rooms and a large shared gymnasium. Meanwhile those venturing to the top can experience top notch recreational facilities high above the clouds.

Etihad Towers, Abu Dhabi

The 'Etihad Towers' are five skyscrapers offering working, shopping and residential space in the exclusive Ras Al Akhdar district of Abu Dhabi. You might just recognise them from Furious 7!

The towers have a close proximity to the city's largest shopping centre, but there is plenty to do inside as well. The podium linking the five towers hosts two storeys of luxurious shopping, as well as a 'gourmet grocery store' for anyone that fancies some homemade fine dining.

While the towers offer apartments ranging in size from one bedroom to four, the penthouses are what really stand out. All five bedrooms in the penthouse apartments are ensuite and feature an amply sized living area where residents can enjoy the view through beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows.

Each of the three residential tower offers a dedicated gymnasium, spa and decked pool area, so there is plenty of luxury to go around. The owners market the towers as "the epitome of world class luxury living in exquisite and tasteful surroundings", with the beach right at your feet for when you're ready to leave your high rise paradise.

Al Fardan Residences, Doha

Also called the 'Barjeel Tower' and 'Wind Tower', respectively, the Al Fardan Residences are adjoined by a commercial podium that houses some of the city's most luxurious stores and boutiques.

Residents venturing outside into the West Bay area can treat themselves to the area's vibrant nightlife or beautiful beaches, all within a booming commercial district.

Each apartment's master bedroom features a walk in closet and ensuite, while each kitchen offers high-end appliances and top of the range decor. The living-dining areas feature stunning foot to ceiling full version panels, providing residents with some of the best views in Qatar.

The buildings themselves offer 24 hour security, as well as an environmentally friendly district cooling system. Residents can also enjoy the rooftop swimming pool, a shared gym and the world-renowned Guerlain Spa.

23 Marina, Dubai

Standing 392.8m tall, this incredible building was formerly the world's tallest residential building until it was knocked off the 'top' spot by the nearby Princess Tower. Walking inside, visitors will be faced with a six storey high entry hall, featuring a beautiful flowing waterfall right behind the concierge desk.

23 Marine offers two and three-bedroom apartments, as well as four-bedroom 'duplexes' that feature not only their own elevators but also private balconies, where residents can soak in the view from the comfort of their own plunge pool.

For any residents wanting to treat themselves, the building offers its own health club, spa and pool, along with a running track!

Nation Towers, Abu Dhabi

Located on the southern end of Abu Dhabi's Corniche, the 'Nation Towers' are two skyscrapers that together accommodate apartments, offices, a shopping mall and even a five-star hotel!

Given their location, the towers offer some beautiful views to residents, particularly from the connecting skybridge which, at 202.5m high, is the highest in the world. Don't look down!

'Tower 1' offers 360 luxurious apartments of various sizes, with penthouse residents enjoying five bedrooms (in addition to a maid's bedroom), walk-in closets and wide open plan living/ dining spaces with incredible views of the ocean below.

Residents of the Nation Towers have plenty of amenities to enjoy, including a swimming pool, spa and a shared gym.
